My name is Catherine Wright and I am an anthropologist. I teach anthropology and archaeology at JSCC and CACC. Anthro-Up is a website about anthropology, which is the study of human behavior. This site is created for all those interested in and curious about anthropology. Anthropology is a holistic science with topics including (but not limited to) life sciences, biology, chemistry, psychology, linguistics, statistics, political science, economics, religion, history, and the fine arts.

Our Mission Statement: The Queer/Straight Alliance at Jefferson State Community College seeks to provide support for self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning people in our community.

Meetings are every Tuesday 2-4pm at the Jeff State Shelby/Hoover Campus HSB room 415
